Fat Night plays Repo Records ahead of Snug Harbor

Colemine Records recording artist Fat Night, a four-piece soul band out of Chicago, made their Charlotte debut this afternoon at Repo Records.  They ran through seven songs consisting of mostly originals.

They ended their set with an impressive medley of “Things You Do” > “I Can’t Go For That” > “What You Won’t Do For Love”  > “Just The Two Of Us”.  You can catch Fat Night tonight at Snug Harbor at 10pm with Boulevards and Boomchild.

Fat Night have been close friends since their middle and high school days in Orlando, Florida.

After years of playing with each other in various bands, their shared love of funk and soul music led the four to start jamming together in Nik’s woodsy backyard shed.  Their shared love of greasy food kept them hanging out late into the night.
