Lenny Boy Brewing is turning seven and they are planning to throw an anniversary party for the ages on April 6th.
While full details of the lineup will be announced soon, we can confirm that DJ Logic, Jeff Sipe, Travers Brothership, and members of local funk acts Menastree and Akita will all be on hand to celebrate Lenny Boy Brewing’s seven years in the craft brewing business. Heads Up Penny and the JAH Will Band round out the lineup.
DJ Logic is one of the world’s most accomplished turntablist’s and is widely credited for introducing jazz into the hip-hop realms. Logic has collaborated over the years with Medeski Martin and Wood, Charlie Hunter, John Mayer, Mos Def, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, and The Roots.

Jeff Sipe is a world renowned drummer and one of the founding members of The Aquarium Rescue Unit along with the late Col. Bruce Hampton. Jeff was also a member of Leftover Salmon and has toured with Trey Anastasio, Jeff Coffin, Jimmy Herring, and Keller Williams over the years.
Asheville’s very own Travers Brothership will make a stop in Charlotte ahead of their highly anticipated debut at famed Brooklyn Bowl in New York in May. They will be in support of Memphis soul rockers Southern Avenue and lap steel titan Roosevelt Collier at Brooklyn Bowl.
