Sounds of Summer (formerly known as Live on the Green) is back for its third year in First Ward Park in Charlotte.

In partnership between Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation and Midwood Entertainment,  the live music series brings together top artists in Roots and Americana music surrounded by delicious-smelling food trucks, craft beer, and wine in a relaxed setting in First Ward Park.

The FREE live music series runs from May to September and your initial lineup is as follows:
 
FRI 5/3 – Yonder Mountain String Band + Hank, Pattie & The Current

FRI 6/14 – Hiss Golden Messenger + The Dead Tongues

FRI 8/9 – Brett Dennen + Emily Sage

FRI 9/13 – Keller & The Keels + Coddle Creek
