Taking place over the first weekend in August at the U.S. National Whitewater Center, the Confluence Music Conference is out with their full line-up of music. The event is free and open to the public. Full details on the conference can be found here.
What is being billed as Confluence: Where music gathers, the two-day conference where local musicians meet the stage, where crowds meet their new favorite band, and where industry professionals meet local artists.
Part festival, platform, and conference, Confluence is for musicians to perform and learn, and for music lovers to discover and enjoy. Confluence is presented by the U.S. National Whitewater Center in association with MaxxMusic and Midwood Entertainment.
Confluence aims to highlight Charlotte’s music scene while developing and supporting the city’s music identity. With 19 local artists and bands, the lineup is a Charlotte medley of original musicians whose genres span Indie and neo-soul, blues, rock, blends of funk and jazz, Latin rhythms, and more.
