Triple C Brewing Company turns seven this weekend and will celebrate with an anniversary bash that includes free music on Saturday.
As they have done in previous years, Triple C will showcase three bands from Charlotte, Asheville, and Nashville, TN throughout the afternoon.
Expect 20-25 new beers for you to choose from, plenty of food trucks, and a vendor marketplace in the Barrel Room. The event is free to the public and kid friendly. The event runs all day from 12 – 10pm with the music starting around 3pm. Additional details about the event can be found here.

Liz Cooper & The Stampede • 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Nashville natives Liz Cooper & The Stampede will headline Triple C on Saturday ahead of next weeks highly anticipated Saturday set at the 2019 LOCKN’ Festival.
Liz Cooper has poured her soul into the Nashville music scene over the past six years and the hard work is starting to pay off.
The group released their debut album Window Flowers to rave reviews in 2018. The album is the culmination of a year where Liz made a purposeful effort to do something creative every day. Whether it was directly related to music or not, this creative process challenged and inspired her to continually put herself in new situations and pushed her to become a better songwriter and guitar player.
Coming off their busiest year to-date, Liz Cooper & The Stampede have spent most of 2018 and 2019 touring with Lord Huron, Deer Tick, Rayland Baxter, Ron Gallo and Blitzen Trapper. The band will continue touring this year with Houndmouth, Tyler Childers and will play Firefly Festival and LouFest.
Songs From The Road Band • 4:30 – 6:00 PM
Songs From The Road Band is a North Carolina based quartet featuring Mark Schimick, Charles Humphrey, Sam Wharton, and James Schlender.
Collectively, they have received top accolades in the bluegrass, Americana, and jazz genres. The band is currently touring in support of their fourth studio album Road to Nowhere
Humphrey is an IBMA award & Grammy recipient. He has also garnered a spot in the NC Music Hall of Fame. Schimick has soared to the top of the progressive and jamgrass scene alongside legends Larry Keel, Vassar Clements, and Tony Rice. Sam Wharton is a dynamic guitar player. Originally from Alabama he developed his picking chops in the music halls of Telluride, CO. He currently makes his home in the mountains of Western North Carolina. He sings lead and harmony vocals. James Schlender, 2 time National Fiddle Champion has shared the stage with Chick Corea, Bobby McFerrin, and George Benson.
Sinners & Saints • 3:00 – 4:00 PM
Since the band’s formation in 2011, Charlotte, NC country crooners Sinners & Saints have brought their live show to many a main stage or festival with a combination of small regional tours in the Southeast and regular appearances across their native Charlotte.
Sinners & Saints features Perry Fowler on guitar, vocals, kick snare, and harmonica and Mark Baran on stand-up bass, vocals, kick drum, tenor banjo.
The band has shared the stage with the likes of Flogging Molly, Shovel and Rope, 500 Miles to Memphis, Bombadil and many others as they seek to spread their whiskey drinking, shit kickin’, sweet loving music to as many ears as they can find.
