Ghost-Note, the percussion-based jazz/funk ensemble, continue to show love to the Charlotte market and announce a March 24th date in Charlotte at Heist Brewery.

By all counts this is the fourth time they have played Charlotte over the past 2 years and are also expected to announce a special guest for the March show.

Headed by Snarky Puppy’s multi-Grammy award winning percussion duo of Robert “Sput” Searight and Nate Werth, Ghost-Note is an expansive roster of next-level musicians representing members of Prince, Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Kendrick Lamar, Marcus Miller, Toto, and more.

The band is pushing funk music into the future, building on the uplifting, pioneering foundations laid out by the likes of James Brown and Sly & The Family Stone all while infusing their fresh take with tastes of Afrobeat, Hip-Hop, Pshychedelia, World music, and more.

2019 was a busy year for Ghost-Note.  The ensemble embarked on a world tour across most of Europe and played numerous dates and festivals here in the States that included Electric Forest, Camp Bisco, and The Newport Jazz Festival.  They also teamed up with The New Mastersounds and Lettuce on a number of dates.

Ghost-Note just got off the Jam Cruise 18 boat which found the members of the group all over the boat in different capacities, most notably night 2 while hosting the Jam Room.  Live For Live Music was on hand to capture the magic.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE
