Charlotte’s Elonzo Wesley has been tapped as the featured artist in this weeks edition of The No Contact Concert Series.
We featured the folk/americana groups recent single “Golden” last month, a beautiful take on a My Morning Jacket tune.
Elonzo Wesley began in 2015, brainchild of singer songwriter Jeremy Davis. Beginning as a solo artist, but also now performing as a string band, Elonzo Wesley has released two EP’s (To Be True, This Ain’t No Country Song), a live album Live at the Evening Muse, and two full length albums. Most recently, releasing 2019’s Songs To No One, on the heels of multiple national tours.
The No Contact Concert Series kicked their streaming series off last week with NC fan favorite Acoustic Syndicate.
Started by Codex Sound engineer John Crawford, the goal of the No Contact Concert Series is to utilize their large warehouse facility and create an online space where artists and production staff can work together to stretch the boundaries of traditional performance formats. All live streaming events will be shot multi-cam style with up to 6 cameras while providing board quality sound.
This weeks show has moved to Friday night at 8pm ET and additional details on the stream can be found on their Facebook event page here.
