Support CLT Venues Fundraiser Week 3: Petra’s and Amos’ Southend

Each week during the month of July, Records On The Wall and Time2Fly Music will be featuring two of the eight music venues around Charlotte we are raising money for while they are still closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Our independent music venues in Charlotte are in dire need of funds to keep their operations afloat and many may have to close their doors for good.  A thriving music scene requires that a market have ample accommodations for bands of all sizes and these Charlotte venues are critical in that role.

This week we’ll be featuring Petra’s and Amos’ Southend.  We provide some background information on each venue below in addition to three different ways you can contribute.

“These entertainment hubs are critical to their local economies and tax bases as employers, tourism destinations, and revenue generators for neighboring businesses such as restaurants, hotels, and retail. Independent venues exist in every state across the country; they were the first to be closed, they will be the last to open.” — NIVA (National Independent Venue Association
