[LISTEN] Folk Rap Band Teams With Afroman On New Single

Charlotte’s own Folk Rap Band has teamed up with Afroman for their first single “Bowl N The Woods”, an instant stoner classic.

Folk Rap Band is a Charlotte based alternative Hip-hop band, formed in 2018, that was originally just a backing band to rapper Nige Hood. Since then the collective has grown into its own playing top venues in Charlotte and sharing the stage with touring bands like Of Good Nature and Bad Cameo. After 2 years of playing live shows (and weathering a global pandemic), Folk Rap Band is finally releasing a studio project.

The project’s first single is “Bowl N The Woods”, a laid-back feel-good song about chilling out and connecting with nature. Along with a catchy hook is a rap verse from Afroman (the stoner icon who made “Because I Got High”) which ties the song and arrangement together beautifully.
